On Wednesday morning, February 17, 6:00 a.m., a new MLS security system will be in place. Called “Rapattoni Secure Logon with Adaptive Authentication”, this new system will take five, maybe ten minutes at most, for you to set up before you will be able to continue on with your Rapattoni work. We strongly recommend that you take this into account in your schedule. You don’t want a customer waiting for you while you’re dealing with a new security installation. Get this done as soon as possible – it’s a one-shot deal – and then you can go about your Rapattoni business without further interruption. The Westchester Putnam Association of Realtors, Inc. is joining with housing services providers, the County government, and area banks and lending institutions to co-sponsor a program of seminars and exhibits to help moderate-income and entry-level homebuyers find a home in the Westchester-Putnam region.

In Memoriam

We regret to announce the passing of Elsie Peragine. A good friend and loyal member of the Scout Realty staff for over 30 yrs. Elsie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Services will be held at Beecher's Funeral Home in Brewster, Thursday, February 4th from 4 to 8pm. Funeral mass held at The United Methodist Church Friday, 10am.

Agents who have prospective purchasers who are interested in attached housing should always remember to search Single Family, property subtype “attached,” in addition to Condominium. There are numerous developments throughout the Lower Hudson Valley that consist of attached single family homes. Failing to search that property category for purchasers interested in attached townhouse style properties deprives those purchasers access to a significant inventory of properties.
